Carol Skinner, Ph.D.

Dr. Carol Skinner is an Ohio licensed psychologist and an independent contractor who specializes in the psychological assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and adults. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University, Dr. Skinner received her Master’s degree from University of Missouri and Doctor of Philosophy from University of Northern Colorado. Although Dr. Skinner’s graduate education was in school psychology, she quickly found her passion working for mental health agencies and in private practice.

Dr. Skinner has expertise in assessment of autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities. She is a Certified ADHD Professional (ADHD-CCSP) through Evergreen Certifications. She enjoys working with children and adults with executive functioning issues such as difficulty with planning, organization, attention, memory, and task initiation. For 12 years she was in a private group psychological practice in State College, Pennsylvania. She moved to Ohio in 2018 and was then employed by Boundless Behavioral Health as the lead psychologist and continued to provide psychological assessments, primarily for individuals with autism and ADHD. Most recently, Dr. Skinner was employed at Brigham Young University- Hawaii where she provided individual, marital, and group counseling to college students.
