Kerry Monahan, Psy.D.

Dr. Kerry Monahan is a licensed clinical psychologist with specialization in clinical neuropsychology. Dr. Monahan has expertise in the neuropsychological assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults. She specializes in the evaluation of ADHD, learning disabilities (e.g., dyslexia), general developmental concerns, as well as the effects of medical diagnoses on thinking and learning. She gathers comprehensive information through formal cognitive testing, observation, and interaction in order to best understand how an individual thinks and learns. Her evaluations emphasize the identification of an individual's personal strengths and weaknesses in order to provide diagnostic clarification and develop specific recommendations.

Dr. Monahan earned her Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from Indiana State University. She completed her doctoral internship in pediatric neuropsychology at Kennedy Krieger Institute/ Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and her two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology at Nationwide Children's Hospital. Dr. Monahan has co-authored peer-reviewed journal publications and presentations primarily in the areas of concussion and moderate to severe traumatic brain injury.
